In the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Colegiales, an electrical panel exploded, causing alarm among the residents. The incident took place in a substation measuring 4 by 3 meters that houses fuses and transformers, with a significant emission of smoke. According to police sources cited by the Argentine News Agency, the explosion occurred at the intersection of Av. Federico Lacroze 2512, between the streets Ciudad de la Paz and Amenábar. For the moment, the authorities deployed a 38 mm line and established a security perimeter around the affected area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Edenor personnel are working on-site to resolve the issue and restore electrical supply to the area. The exact causes of the explosion have not yet been determined. Possible hypotheses are being considered, such as a failure due to high temperatures or even the possibility that it was an intentional act.
